Processing flow of basic NPK fertilizer production line

The processing flow of the basic NPK fertilizer production line covers multiple key steps, aiming to produce fertilizer products that meet basic agricultural needs.

The first stage is the preparation of raw materials. Various nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium raw materials are transported to the factory, such as urea, diammonium phosphate, potassium sulfate, etc. These raw materials need to undergo strict inspection to ensure that the quality meets the standards. Subsequently, according to the predetermined fertilizer formula, precise measuring equipment is used to weigh and ratio different raw materials to ensure accurate nutrient ratios.

Then enter the crushing and mixing stage. The block or granular raw materials are crushed into small particles by a fertilizer grinder to increase the surface area and facilitate subsequent uniform mixing. Afterwards, the crushed raw materials are transported to the mixer, where various materials are fully blended through stirring, rolling, and other actions to form a homogeneous mixture.

Granulation is a crucial step. The mixed materials are fed into a fertilizer granulator, commonly known as a disc granulator. In the granulator, the material gradually aggregates into particles by the centrifugal force, friction force, etc. of the rotating disk. By adjusting parameters such as disc speed and material humidity, the size and shape of particles can be controlled.

After granulation is completed, it is the drying process. Moist fertilizer particles contain a certain amount of moisture, which is not conducive to storage and transportation. Use a hot air dryer to heat the particles and evaporate the moisture. The drying process requires strict control of temperature and time to avoid loss of fertilizer nutrients.

The dried particles enter the cooling stage. Air cooling equipment rapidly cools fertilizer particles, enhances their hardness and stability, and prevents particle deformation or adhesion.

Next is the screening process. The vibrating screen screens fertilizer particles according to the specified particle size. Qualified particles enter the next process as finished products, while oversized or undersized particles are separated and returned for re granulation.

Finally, there is the packaging stage. The finished fertilizer that has passed inspection is weighed by an automatic packaging scale according to the set weight, packed into a packaging bag, and then sealed by a sealing device. The packaging will clearly indicate the ingredients, content, usage methods, and other information of the fertilizer. At this point, the basic NPK fertilizer is processed and waiting to be transported to various farmland.
