Scientific maintenance can not only extend the life of the equipment, but also reduce the failure rate, and escort continuous production.

Daily maintenance requires attention to details. Before starting the machine, check whether the bolts of each connection part are loose, especially the fixing bolts of the cage frame and the main shaft, to avoid parts falling off during high-speed operation. Pay attention to the bearing temperature during operation. If it exceeds 60℃, stop the machine immediately for inspection to prevent jamming due to insufficient lubrication. After stopping the machine, clean up the residual materials in the machine cavity in time, especially easy-to-entangle materials such as straw fibers and livestock manure residues, to avoid excessive load and burning the motor at the next start.
Regular maintenance should form a system. Disassemble the bearing seat every week to add lithium-based grease to ensure that the rolling bearing is fully lubricated during high-speed rotation; check the wear of the crushing cage bars every month, and replace them in time when the blade becomes blunt or cracks appear, and maintain uniform crushing particle size (usually controlled at 2-5mm). Adjust the tension of the transmission belt every quarter. If it is too loose, it will slip and affect the speed. If it is too tight, it will aggravate the wear of the shaft system. Maintaining the appropriate tension can keep the crushing efficiency stable at more than 85%.
Special maintenance cannot be ignored. After processing high-humidity materials, the machine cavity needs to be rinsed with clean water and wiped dry to prevent the residue from mildewing and agglomeration; before long-term shutdown, the equipment must be thoroughly cleaned and anti-rust oil should be applied to the surface of metal parts to avoid moisture and rust.
Cage crushers that insist on scientific maintenance can extend the fault interval by more than 3 times, reduce annual maintenance costs by 40%, and better ensure the crushing quality of organic fertilizer raw materials, laying a good foundation for subsequent granulation processes.
